The duties of the Taleem department include but not limited to: motivate the members to take keen interest and improve in their religious and secular education i.e. Jamaat members should take keen interest in studying the Holy Quran, the Hadith, the books written by Hazrat Masih Maud (peace be upon him) and other Jama'at literature, listening the Friday sermons delivered by Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih. Jamaat members should
pursue for the higher secular education. Currently held
activities Sunday classes are held on a regular basis for Atfaal ul Ahmadiyya and Nasirat ul Ahmadiyya. Additionaly, tarbiyatti classes are held for Atfaal ul Ahmadiyya , Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya Ansarullah, Nasirat ul Ahmadiyya and Lajna Imaillah. A syllabus is designed for these Tarbiyatti classes. Environment of competition is created within the students to bring forward their competing abilities by giving assignments and taking tests. The winners are awarded with prizes. A National Taleemi Board functions which advises the students about their secular education. The National Taleemi Board also acts as an advisory council for the students in selecting their line of studies and profession. The National Taleemi board also acts as a career management council for the professionals or working members. The National Taleemi Board publishes articles from time to time in the local magazine "Al-Huda" related to the secular education. Essay competition is organized within Atfaal ul Ahmadiyya and Nasirat ul Ahmadiyya. The winners are awarded prizes on Jalsa Salana. A new competition is introduced in 2005 for the primary and higher school students. The students who will receive maximum academic awards during the school year will be awarded a prize on Jalsa Salana. Academic awards are distributed to every student who attains the qualification level of HSC and university. Additionally, special prizes are given to the students who show outstanding performance during their studies. Awards are distributed to the professionals in recognition of the exceptional performance in their field. The deserving students are granted Qarz-e-Hasana for higher studies under the direction and guideline established by the Markaz. Currently there are a number of students in Australia Jamaat who are benefiting from this scheme. Currently the National Taleem department is trying to collect a complete data of all the Jamaat members with their qualification and line of profession. It is planned that this data will be stored and maintained at a central location. A campaign was organized to distribute every Jamaat member a copy of the ten conditions of Ba'it as instituted by Hazrat Masih Maud (peace be upon him). It was also emphasized to every Jamaat member to learn and implement these ten conditions in their life as wished by Hazrat Khalif tul Masih V Ayada ullah Talah Be-nasre hil Aziz.
