Final Session
The final session chaired by Nasir Kahloon Sahib (Naib Ameer).
Speech 1: Waqf-e-Nou Scheme by Nasir Ataul Awal Sahib
The speaker highlighted the importance of the Waqf-e-Nau Scheme, where he explained the purpose of creating this blessed scheme by Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih IV, Mirza Tahir Ahmad (ra) on 3rd April 1987. He also explained the value and the responsibilities of both the parents and the Waaqfeen, as well as the role of the waqf-e-nau department. He emphasized on the recent Friday Sermon of Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih the V (aba). Huzoor laid emphasis on the large number of Waaqfeen who are not going to the Jamia to attain religious knowledge and acquire various other professions are required to consult the department at every stage of their studies. The Waaqfeen over the age of 15 years are required to fill the form by themselves for the continuation of their waqf. He reminded the audience of Hazrat Khalifa tul Masih IV’s Friday Sermon of 10th February 1989. He concluded his speech with the saying of the Promised Messiah (as) from the book ‘OUR TEACHING’.
Speech2:
Maqam-e-Shahadat by Inam ul Haque Alvi
Explained the importance and position of a martyr in perspective of Islamic
values and teachings. He mentioned about the martyrdom of Shehzada Abdul
Lateef Shaheed in Afghanistan, who was the only person who was martyred
during the life of the Promised Messiah (aw). Quoted some Ahadith in regards
to the position and importance of the Shaheed in terms of been given life.
Almighty Allah says, do not call Shaheed dead. The speaker concluded his
speech with the prayer that May Allah blesses the shuhada with high place
in paradise.

Internet and its usage by Dr. Omar Shahab Sahib
The speaker explained the negatives of the usage of the
social networking site the Facebook. He emphasized that parents must learn
the use of internet so that they know the pros and cons and look after
children better. Further, he explained with the help of an interactive
presentation about the health issues and illnesses caused by constantly
sitting and being on the internet and also with the use of mp3 and iPods
etc. He in detail highlighted the evils of the social networking Facebook,
the crimes related to use of such sites and how various intelligence agencies,
universities and other organisations use the social networking sites to
collect information about individuals. He also explained how the crimes
are being committed by using social networking site Facebook. He concluded
that the use of the Internet can be advantageous provided it is used smartly
and intelligently.
Award
Ceremony
Before concluding the Jalsa Salana 2011, there were awards that
were given on the performance in different categories as follows.
Taaleem: - those gaining high and distinction positions were awarded both
for ladies and men.
There was special award which worth mentioning and that was about distributing
high number of the pamphlet of 'the Message of Peace'. The award was given
to Muhammad Sadiq Sahib for his untiring work of distributing 10,000 brochures,
never before it has been done by a single individual.
In Alme Anami Ansarullah: - First position was secured by Majlis South
Australia and second position was secured by Majlis Queensland . In Khuddamul Ahmadiyya: - First position was secured by
majlis South Australia, second was shared by Majlis Victoria and Majlis
Al Noor (NSW), third position was awarded to Majlis ACT, Queensland and
Majlis Al Sadaqat jointly.
Concluding Session
The chairperson of the third session Nasir Kahloon
Sahib briefly reminded the members of the Jamaat about the construction
of the mosques in various parts of Australia. Reminded to contribute open
heartedly towards building these mosque. By the Grace of Almighty
Allah this year there were 1806 members of the Jamaat
and non-Ahmadi 40 guests attending the 2011 Jalsa Salana.
If one breaks down the figures, apart from the local chapters the Victoria
had the highest numbers attending which is 162 members. Another interesting
moment of joy for this Jalsa is that there were representation from seven
different countries namely Germany, Pakistan, Fiji, India, USA, UK and
New Zealand.
The Jalsa Salana finally concluded with the silent prayers and after that every member of the community embraced and congratulated each other for the success of the Jalsa.

Day
3 - Ladies
By the grace of Allah, the third day of the 27th Jalsa
Salana began at 10:30 am with the Recitation of the Holy Quran, followed
by a melodious Nazm. The first speech of the day discussed the blessed
scheme of Waqf-e-Nau. The speech outlined the scheme and its foundations.
It also further highlighted that a Syllabus has been approved for the
Waqf-e-Nau of 18-19 years and above. The speech was followed by another
Nazm relating Shohada-e-Ahmadiyyat.
The second speech of the session was titled "Maqam-e-Shahadat." The speech outlined the status one acquires when one is martyred for the sake of their religion. It brilliantly presented some martyrs of Islam and Ahmadiyyat, including Shehzada Abdul Lateef Sahib (Shaheed) of Afghanistan.
The final speech of the day concerned New Technology and the Internet.
The speaker used Power Point presentation to convey the message of the
harm that social networking sites carry with them. After prize distribution,
concluding remarks and dua followed. After the session, a Nikah was announced,
which was followed by Namaz Zuhr and Asr. This session concluded Jalsa
Salana and the volunteers began to wind up and place all equipment in
their correct places. All departments enthusiastically helped one another
to clear Jalsa Gah.
It appears that the Jalsa Salana this year was also enjoyed by all young
and old. It is important to mention that this annual gathering was managed,
arranged and all the activities were undertaken on volunteer basis. The
three days of glitch free and impressive arrangements reflects the capability
and sense of responsibility that is shared by all the participants and
volunteers.
