Introduction

  • This organisation was founded on the 4th of February, 1938 by Hazrat Mirza Bashir-Uddin Mahmud Ahmad, the second Caliph to the Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
  • Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is a religious and spiritual organisation that caters for the Ahmadi youth. Every fealty-swearer to the Ahmadiyya Caliphate between the ages of 16 and 40 is part of this organisation and each member is known as a Khadim (young servant).
  • The major and essential objectives of this organisation include the up-bringing of its members, according to Islamic principles, creating an incentive for the love of Allah, His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Islam, and inculcating in the youth the spirit to serve the nation and mankind.
  • Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya is established all over Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.

Programs and Activities

  • The largest program is the National Ijtema held in Sydney annually, which is a gathering of Khuddam across the country to compete against each other in religious and sports activities.
  • Regular inter-halqa sports and religious competitions are also held.
  • Regular waqar-e-amal sessions are held to clean the mosque and its surroundings.
  • Tarbiyyati classes are held at the mosque to enhance the spiritual knowledge of the Khuddam.
  • Bookstalls are organised at various locations in order to spread the word of Islam and Ahmadiyyat to others.
  • Khuddam also take part in the Australia Clean Up Day and the Red Cross Door Knock Appeal Day.
  • Blood donations by Khuddam are also organised to help those in need of blood.
  • Various Picnic Days are organised for Khuddam to get together and enjoy the outdoors.
