Introduction
- This organisation
was founded on the 4th of February, 1938 by Hazrat Mirza Bashir-Uddin
Mahmud Ahmad, the second Caliph to the Promised Messiah, Hazrat
Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.
- Majlis Khuddamul
Ahmadiyya is a religious and spiritual organisation that caters
for the Ahmadi youth. Every fealty-swearer to the Ahmadiyya Caliphate
between the ages of 16 and 40 is part of this organisation and
each member is known as a Khadim (young servant).
- The major
and essential objectives of this organisation include the up-bringing
of its members, according to Islamic principles, creating an incentive
for the love of Allah, His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him) and Islam, and inculcating in the youth
the spirit to serve the nation and mankind.
- Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya
is established all over Australia, including Sydney, Brisbane,
Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra.
Programs and Activities
- The largest
program is the National Ijtema held in Sydney annually, which
is a gathering of Khuddam across the country to compete against
each other in religious and sports activities.
- Regular inter-halqa
sports and religious competitions are also held.
- Regular waqar-e-amal
sessions are held to clean the mosque and its surroundings.
- Tarbiyyati
classes are held at the mosque to enhance the spiritual knowledge
of the Khuddam.
- Bookstalls
are organised at various locations in order to spread the word
of Islam and Ahmadiyyat to others.
- Khuddam also
take part in the Australia Clean Up Day and the Red Cross Door
Knock Appeal Day.
- Blood donations
by Khuddam are also organised to help those in need of blood.
- Various Picnic
Days are organised for Khuddam to get together and enjoy the outdoors.
