By the Grace of Allah, Vanuatu now has its first Ahmadi after Mr Mall Teron Moktar Ahmad accepted Ahmadiyyat at Port Vila on September 20 at the hand of Musa bin Masran, an Ahmadiyya Muslim Missionary from the Solomon Islands, during a visit to the neighboring Pacific nation in mid-September.

Mr Moktar Ahmad , aged 25, is the son of the chief of Wala Village, Malekula Province, but has lived for the past 9 years in Mele Village, 10 minutes from the centre of Port Vila.

He said he wanted to bring the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat to the Ni-Vanuatu, the Melanesian people, especially his own people who live in town. He has already spoken to them and invited them to accept Islam Ahmadiyyat.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Vanuatu now it has own postal mailbox which is C/O PO Box 2015, Port Villa.
